Portrait of Trauma Art Guy

Three days after breaking my back and neck on the job,

I discovered a sudden ability to draw hyper-realism, diagnosed as acquired savant syndrome.

With only 34 known cases worldwide, my doctor believes I'll keep improving as I continue to draw.

Now part of the Wounded Warrior Project, I draw 8-12 hours daily and have completed over 830 pieces.

I'm launching my website featuring limited edition, museum-quality prints. I'll add new art weekly, host giveaways, and welcome commissions via email.

Follow me on Instagram and YouTube.

My journey shows we are capable of far more than we imagine, often unlocked through trauma.

Thank you for visiting—seize the moment.

From the depths of despair, you arose,
A fall, a fracture, yet talent flows.
Through pain and healing, a gift unfurls,
Brush strokes dance, creating worlds.

A canvas becomes your sanctuary,
A refuge from the pain you carry.
Hyper-realism, born from the fall,
A masterpiece, your inner call.

Doctors ponder, marvel at the sight,
Genetic memory, a guiding light.
Acquired savant, a label they give,
Yet your art, how it helps you live.

Eight hundred pieces, each one a tale,
Of resilience, strength, and how you prevail.
Through hardship’s grip, you find your way,
In strokes of beauty, every day.

So here’s to you, a beacon bright,
In darkness, you’ve found your light.
Your story, a testament, forever told,
In artistry, brave and bold.
